Eliminating redundancies between technologies

This step's goal is to make sure that there are no redundancies within the overall project curation and development. It means that the research aftermath is fully covered according to the research brief and client's expectations.

Research Task: Identifying trends During this phase, researchers should divide the approved technologies into clusters in order to find common patterns. This exercise will help to find out which themes are covered the least and which ones might contain replicates. In addition, during this phase, experts and partners are generally consulted about gaps of research and further adjustments.

How to create collections of technologies

• Enter TDB

• Click [Projects]

• Select a project

• Click on the "Clusters I" board (created during Define phase)

• Drag technologies to their correspondent theme list

• Discuss redundancies and gaps with your team by using the lists as starting points
